How do you print a Christmas word search?

Fourteen words are hidden in each grid, running across, down, diagonally and backwards, overlapping wherever letters agree. Using It at a Party or in a Classroom
A word search is the rare Christmas activity that works for a room of mixed ages at the same time, because everyone is solving the same grid at their own pace and nobody is waiting for a turn. Print one per person rather than sharing — the point is the quiet ten minutes, and two people over one sheet turns it back into a conversation.
For a classroom, the Christmas Dinner and Around the World lists carry the most vocabulary worth talking about afterwards: panettone, stollen, glühwein and Befana all come with a story attached, and our Christmas traditions section has the story for each of them.
Getting a Clean Print
Print in portrait with margins set to default; the grid is sized to fit US Letter and A4 without scaling. The site header, footer and the controls above are hidden automatically when printing, so the sheet comes out as the title, the grid and the word list. Leave the answer key collapsed before printing unless you want it on the page — an open details block prints with everything else, which is useful for whoever is running the room and unhelpful for everyone else.
