Are these really free, and how do I print them?

Every printable here is a PDF you can download and print immediately — no email address, no account, no watermark. They are laid out for US Letter but print correctly on A4 as long as you set scaling to 100% rather than 'Fit to page', which is the single most common reason a printable comes out the wrong size. Gift tags and colouring pages work on ordinary paper; anything you want to survive handling is better on 160gsm card.

Printing tip: set scaling to 100% (not "Fit to page") and margins to minimum. Cardstock is worth it for the gift tags; plain paper is fine for everything else.

A Puzzle That Prints Differently Every Time

Everything above is a fixed sheet. The Christmas word search is the exception — it builds a new 15×15 grid on the page each time you ask, across five themes, so a classroom or a party table can have a different puzzle per person rather than the same one photocopied. It prints from the browser with an answer key underneath.

What to Print, and When

The planning sheets earn their keep in October and November, before anything is urgent. Fill in the budget planner first — deciding the number before you shop is the single change that keeps December from getting expensive — then carry the same names across to the shopping checklist and the card list.

The meal planner is a December job. Work backwards from when you want to eat: write the sitting time at the top, then fill in each dish's start time from its cooking length. Most Christmas dinner disasters are scheduling problems, not cooking problems. Our Christmas dinner menu has a worked example with timings.

The bucket list and gift tags are for the season itself. Put the bucket list somewhere everyone walks past, and print the tags on cardstock the same afternoon you plan to wrap — they curl if they sit around. The Christmas planner walks through the whole timeline if you want the bigger picture.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these Christmas printables really free?
Yes. Every sheet downloads immediately with no email address, no account, and no watermark. We would rather you use them than trade your inbox for them.
Why are the files SVG instead of PDF?
SVG is vector, so it prints crisply at any size and opens directly in any browser — no reader required. Use File then Print from your browser, or right-click to save the file first.
How do I print these at the right size?
Set scaling to 100% or "Actual size" in your print dialog and margins to none or minimum. "Fit to page" shrinks everything a few percent, which matters on the gift tag sheet where you are cutting along printed lines.
Can I use these at work or for a class?
Yes — print as many copies as you need for your family, classroom, office, or church group. Please do not resell them or repackage them as your own.
