Laneige lists the Lip Sleeping Mask at $24 for 0.7 oz / 20 g, including Berry. Sephora lists the same Berry jar, sku 1966258, at $24, or $22.80 with Auto-Replenish. Sephora's copy calls it a leave-on overnight mask with berry fruit complex, murumuru seed butter, shea butter, and vitamin C. Buy it if she already burns through lip balm and you want one jar, rather than a trio of scents she will not open. If she uses nothing on her face, pick a different row in the table.

Corkcicle lists the Classic Canteen at $30. The 16 oz size is 23.5 cm tall, triple-insulated, cold for 25 hours and hot for 12, with flat sides that fit a bag. A color list on the same site showed 16 oz Gloss White at $21 and several other 16 oz colors at $30. The default product view has also shown sold out, so confirm the color you want is actually shipping. This is the gift that still works for a sister you rarely see: she will use a water bottle, and it does not depend on a private joke.

Apple AirPods 5 — $129

Apple lists AirPods 5 at $129 and the wireless-charging-case model at $149. Active noise cancellation is included on both. AirPods 4 is still $129, and the 4 with noise cancellation is $179. At the same $129, the 5 is the current pair. Buy them if she uses an iPhone and does not already have a pair in a drawer. They are a bad surprise for someone on Android.

Sentimental and personalized gifts for your sister

The personal gifts on this list are the ones you have to make: the $10 Knock Knock book, blank until you write it, and a photo book of your own pictures. A necklace engraved with the word sister is personal in the mall-kiosk sense. Skip it unless she has pointed at that exact necklace.

Order either photo book early enough to proof it. The Everyday page shows a shipping estimate that moves with the order date, and the Layflat price page does not give a production time. Give yourself more than a week.

Gifts from a sister

A sister-to-sister gift can be ruder and more specific than a gift from anyone else. The Knock Knock Sis book is built for that. Write the lines she will recognize: the apartment, the car ride, the fight you are both done with. Leave the generic prompts half-finished and the book reads like homework.

If you live in different cities, the better version of "from a sister" is a plan to be in the same room. The cooking class below is one way to do that in New York. A shipped candle is easier and usually worse.

Gifts for your sister-in-law

A sister-in-law gift fails when it pretends you grew up together. The fill-in book does that. So does anything labeled "sis."

Tell them about allergies when you book. The age band starts at 10.

How we chose

Each item was open on the seller's own site. The Laneige price was also on Sephora. Nothing is here because a roundup called it popular, and nothing is described as tested. If a page did not show a price, the product is not here.
